Daniel Ruben
Associate Professor of Christian Ministry

ABOUT

​

Professor Daniel Ruben serves as Associate Professor of Christian Ministry, teaching in our undergraduate department. He served for several years in music and youth ministry before vocational pursuing pastoral ministry and has served the local church in various ministry capacities for over 10 years. Currently, he pastors a small local church (Fellowship Bible Church) in Carson City, NV. Professor Ruben is also an ACBC certified biblical counselor. He's currently a Th.M. student at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He is passionate about systematic theology, expositional Christ-centered preaching, and biblical counseling. He is the founder of the Nevada Biblical Counseling Center and serves on the board of Reformation NV, an organization that seeks to promote Reformation theology in local churches. Professor Ruben is also involved with a project to set the Psalms to music.   

​

Ruben lives in Carson City with his lovely wife and two rambunctious boys. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, camping, fishing, hiking, and wrestling with his boys. His writing can be found at reformationnevada.com
