Rev. Greg Demme
Professor of creation studies
ABOUT

Professor Greg Demme has a broad educational background, having earned degrees in Meteorology, Mathematics, and Music (from Penn St. University and the University of Virginia), as well as an M.Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before planting Grace Baptist Church of Minot (ND) in January 2022, Greg served as a Weather Officer in the US Air Force and as a land agent in the energy industry while he and his wife Beth raised their three children. The Lord has convicted him repeatedly about the importance of the church as the primary place of ministry to and within the culture. Biblical ministry must include preaching and teaching the whole counsel of God.
Professor Demme joined Forge Theological Seminary as Professor of Creation Studies in early 2026. Having grown up in a Roman Catholic environment, he experienced firsthand the theological and spiritual devastation caused by not taking God at His Word in the area of creation. The revelation that God can be trusted from the earliest verses of Scripture transformed not only Greg's life but also transformed the way he envisions nearly all of ministry, with a worldview formed strictly on the solid foundation of the Bible.
For the past 25 years, the creation message has solidified as a specific passion for Greg while providing numerous entry points into both discipleship within the body of Christ and evangelism outside the body. He especially desires to see more of the Reformed community appreciate and embrace the biblical creation message.
