ABOUT

As President of the seminary, Dr. Michael R. Burgos oversees its daily operations, academic programs, and faculty. Dr. Burgos serves as a preaching pastor at Northwest Hills Community Church in Torrington, Connecticut. He holds a BS in Bible and Theology from Lee University, an MA in Theology from the University of Chester (UK), an MA in Biblical and Theological Studies from Belhaven University, and a PhD in Theology from Forge Theological Seminary. Dr. Burgos is currently a Doctor of Ministry student with the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also a certified counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors

 

Dr. Burgos is the author of a variety of books on theology and apologetics including Kiss the Son: A Christological Apology in Response to David K. Dr. Burgos grew up in the Hudson Valley region of New York State and married his high school sweetheart, Marion. Today they have nine children, Abigail, Gabriel, Christian, Grace, Lily, Virginia, Israel, Benjamin, and Ruby.
