Kevin Hay serves as the Pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Portsmouth, Ohio. He holds a BA from Shawnee State University, an MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at The Master’s Seminary. He serves at Forge as a Professor of Christian Ministry and is the Director of the DMin program in Expository Preaching. Kevin has been serving in pastoral ministry since 2009. He has experience as a church planter and has pastored churches in Arizona, West Virginia, Indiana, and Ohio. He is the editor of the book Assurance: Our Confidence in Christ by Thomas Goodwin (H&E Publishing, 2022). Kevin is also a contributing author for Expository Parenting.

Kevin and his wife, Alicia, are from Minford, Ohio. They have nine children: McKenna, Landon, Meela, Madison, Liam, Levi, Mariah, Maylee, and Leland
