ASSOCIATE OF THEOLOGY
This 60 credit hour degree program is designed to provide the student with a solid understanding of the things of God. Recently updated, the Associate of Theology (ThA) program includes courses in biblical studies, systematic theology, Christian thought, apologetics, practical theology, and a host of other areas. The ThA is an at-your-own-pace program, which affords students both flexibility and academic rigor.

BACHELOR OF THEOLOGY
The Bachelor of Theology (ThB) is a degree completion program totaling 120 credit hours of study with an optional thesis project. Students will gain a substantial understanding of biblical Greek, biblical studies, and theology. Non-thesis students will complete a capstone project wherein they will construct a confession of faith. Students who have previously completed the ThA program are gained automatic admittance.

Associate degree or some college.

MASTER OF ARTS - RESEARCH
& MASTER OF THEOLOGY
The Master of Arts-Research (MAR) and Master of Theology (ThM) are 36 credit hour thesis-only research degrees, based upon the Oxford method of education. Students who already possess a graduate degree equivalent to a Master of Divinity who complete this program are awarded the ThM. Students who possess an undergraduate degree in either biblical or theological studies who complete this program will be awarded the MAR. MAR/ThM students are required to read extensively according to one of six available concentrations, produce a research proposal, and a master's thesis comprised of no less than 100 pages of primary research. The MAR/ThM program affords students the occasion to conduct significant research in their area of interest. Students who complete the MAR/ThM program are automatically approved for entry into the ThD program.
In some cases, a student who has already produced a published work that has not been utilized in a degree program previously may be considered for the MAR/ThM.

MAR: A recognized bachelor's degree in theology, Bible, religion or a related discipline.
ThM: Either a recognized bachelor's degree in theology, Bible, religion or a related discipline and a graduate degree in theology, Bible, religion or a Master of Divinity.

MASTER OF ARTS IN BIBLICAL COUNSELING
The Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling (MABC) is a 54 credit hour degree program. There are a total of 11 courses consisting of 42 credit hours. Additionally, students will complete the requirements for Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) Pathway Through Certification. FTS will recognize the completion of ACBC's requirements as the equivalent of 12 credit hours of study. Upon certification, FTS will award the degree. Students who already possess ACBC certification may complete the requisite coursework for degree completion.
Prerequisite:
MABC: A recognized bachelor's degree.
Upon acceptance into a degree program, students will be assigned an academic adviser. Upon approval, students may also utilize their Pastor or another qualified individual to serve as their adviser. Students interested in this option should indicate their preference on their application.

BACHELOR OF THEOLOGY IN BIBLICAL COUNSELING
The Bachelor of Theology in biblical counseling (ThB-BC) is a 120 credit-hour degree completion program designed to equip students with robust understanding of practical theology from a distinctively biblical counseling perspective. The ThB-BC program incorporates much of the coursework from our Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. Additionally, students will complete the requirements for Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) pathway to certification. FTS will recognize the completion of ACBC's requirements as the equivalent of 12 credit hours of study. Upon certification, FTS will award the degree. Students who already possess ACBC certification may complete the requisite coursework for degree completion.

MASTER OF DIVINITY
Our MDiv program is comprised of 93 credit hours of study. The program is comprised of 19 essential courses and 12 electives.
Accelerated MDiv:
Students who already posses a recognized bachelor's degree in Bible, theology, religion or a related discipline may qualify for advanced placement in the MDiv program
Prerequisite:
A recognized bachelor's degree.
DOCTOR OF MINISTRY
The Doctor of Ministry (DMin) program is a 36 credit hour dissertation-only professional degree based upon the Oxford method of education. DMin students are required to produce a dissertation proposal and a dissertation of no less than 150 pages of primary research. Research topics must relate to some aspect of practical theology (e.g., preaching, apologetics, biblical counseling). In some cases, a student who has already produced a published work that has not been utilized in a degree program previously may be considered for the DMin.

MDiv or equivalent.
DOCTOR OF THEOLOGY
The ThD program is a 48 credit hour dissertation-only research degree based upon the Oxford method of education. ThD students are required to produce a dissertation proposal and a dissertation of no less than 200 pages of primary research. ThD research must demonstrate substantial proficiency in theological disciplines, including proficiency in biblical languages where required. In some cases, a student who has already produced a published work that has not been utilized in a degree program previously may be considered for the ThD.

MDiv or a recognized bachelor's degree and graduate degree in Bible, theology, religion.
